People want robots to do things for them. Depending on what you consider a chore, this robot covers a lot of things.

Home Assistant Robot

The so-called “Home Assistant Robot” stands 155cm and weighs 130kg. Moving on two wheels, the prototype is equipped with two arms (the hands have 3 fingers each), five mini cameras and six laser sensors. Its neck and head can be moved in 3 differenct directions, the lower body in two, the arms in seven each and the fingers in two.

Soon there will be robots around us that use the language of emotion – smiling, looking sad or worried – in order to communicate with us more easily. Even though these robots won’t have real emotions, we might easily imagine they do!
